IRIS “And the blind will see”

IRIS is a system that allows visual impaired children see educational material used in the traditional classroom using their hands. IRIS is an innovative tool that transforms the shapes and colors of these images to an encoding that can be understood with the hands.


IRIS offers a database of pedagogical images that teachers can use to explain visually impaired children concepts using graphic shapes and colors, offering higher quality, variety and equality in their educational process, which traditional solutions do not provide.
